Construction of granite heritage gate, monuments and pavilion will take off in Reedley in next few months.
Location: at the corner of Reed and 'I' streets.
Five monuments will honor:
Syngman Rhee
Ahn Chang-ho
Charles Ho Kim
Harry S. Kim
Kim Yong-jeung
for their respective contributions to the Korean independence movement and the Korean American community.
Expected date of completion: April 2010.
